As a painter working in acrylics or oils, I express myself in a loose, painterly fashion. In this body of work, the energy of urban environments drives my inspiration. Spontaneous brushstrokes unveil imagery in an expressive manner as I aim to capture a world in motion and transition.

 
I’m Kansas City native who received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kansas State University in 1988. I have studied painting in Kansas City with David DeRusseau and Philomene Bennett. My work has appeared in eight group shows in Kansas City, most recently at The Late Show, and Apex Art Space.
